Dutch based composer, arranger and accordionist Rob Zieverink studied accordion with Miny Dekkers at the conservatorium in in Arnhem (The Netherlands), Graduating in 1988 Rob went on to further his studies in orchestra direction with Eduard Nieland, Karel Wolters and Lex Veelo. Rob has also taken part in Masterclasses with Mogens Ellegaard (Denmark), Frederic Guouret (France), Viacheslav Semionov and Friedrich Lips (Russia). Further studies in Chior direction included Masterclasses in Germany with Wolfgang Pfeffer en Fritz Dobler.
A born educator, Rob currently teaches at the Musikschule Nordhorn in Germany. As a performer Rob plays regularly in a number of various settings and is chief conductor of the choirs conducts “Vocal Essen” in Oldenzaal (The Netherlands) and the male choir “Eintracht” in Schüttorf (Germany).
In addition to teaching and performing Rob is well known as an composer and arranger. Rob’s compositions and arrangements have been performed by numerous Choirs, Orchestras and ensembles worldwide. In 2014 Rob opened his own music publishing company under the name Matrix Music where his compositions and arrangements are available for sale.
